I use tap water from the Brita filter, same as the cat gets. Granted, that's what I prefer to drink as well, so...

I use filtered water if there's water in the jug ... if not it's tap water

- Just a side question here, does anyone else's BP rub their face excessively on hides/glass right after drinking a lot of water? It's the only time I ever see him do it - right after he gulps water every time I change it.

Dry the rat gently and then place it on a doily made from organic silkworms.

Organic silkworms....So that's where I've been going wrong!
