How often do I rotate females?
For those of you who breed multiple females to a single male: how often do you rotate which girl he's with? Do you ever give the male a break?
I have a little 2009 piebald (700 grams) that I'm rotating between a 2009 pastel and a 2008 black pastel. He's been a bit slow figuring out what to do with them he's finally got it now.
So how often should I rotate him between the two ladies? What's the "optimal" pairing period to make sure both girls stay on track? Should I give the pied a recovery period, or just wait until he sheds? (Though he's still not breeding so furiously that he's got a crusty vent or anything like that.)

It seems like people like to pair them for three days, then give them 3-5 days off. So put him in with one female for 3 days max (unless you see a lock, then you just remove him), then give him 3-5 days off. Then to the next female and repeat. It is pretty common that they will lock within the first few hours, but when you remove him still give him the break before placing him with the other female.

Females get bred about once a month...I rotate males through multiple girls in a row with no break.

How often do the girls see a male on that schedule?
(Also, 700 grams and a 2009 is a perfectly breed-able male, right? Does introducing him to two girls slow him down? He keeps trying to lock with their necks and belly buttons. My 1200 gram 2009 male only has one female, and he figured it out back in December.)

700 g 2009 is perfectly acceptable..he could just be a smaller male...breed each girl once a month, how you cycle them depends entirely on how you want to do it

I give my males 3 days off in between. The most important thing is to watch their weight. I make sure I feed them. Sometimes they eat sometimes they don't. If they eat I give them 2 days before they go back in with the ladies. My Butter male is a 2008 and is around 900g. I try to keep my males around 900g. Seem to breed better that way.
