Odd bumps on ball python, - help

Ivory will be seeing the vet on tuesday, soonest I can get him in to my reptile vet who is currently treating him. But I have spoken to two reptile vets over the phone and they have never seen this, though one suggested an allergic reaction and so probably not a emergency, which is what I think. Looks kind of like dropsy on fish.

Ivory is being treated for an URL with ceftazidime and some trebeenn something er rather pink stuff. This swelling happened very quickly, four days ago I switched from fortaz to generic, I remember seeing a little swollen spot, a few days ago, cleaned the cage in the morning friday, - nothing new, but when I went to medicate in the evening he looked like this, well it might have gone down some.

    Does any one have ideas?

URL? Maybe his proxy is not set up right.
    Haha I kidding. Sorry.

Upper respiratory infection I'm sure he meant.

I've never seen this before and am curious to see what everyone has to say.

Maybe your snakes got some kind of bruises?

Considering that the 'L' key and the 'I' key are somewhat close to each other, I'm guessing that the OP meant to say "URI". Honestly, I've only seen these bumps one other time, and as your vet suggested it turned out to be a slight reaction to the medication. Doing a little bit of research on the medication, it seems that a common reaction to ceftazidime is swelling at, around, and near the injection site.

Hope Ivory gets better soon, he's beautiful.
