If you want to present an issue in a public forum, you need a thicker skin. Not every one is going to agree with your position.

    And,

When you bring personal information into the discussion, i.e. the free products you get from Lush, then you really either need to have your crap wired tight, or you need to get good with the fact that the info will be used in the debate. No one twisted your arm to post that information.

I believe if you were going to post about this topic you should have used a different source of information. Thats like posting about a issue HSUS did a report on and then made a video.

I'm going to try not to get involved in the argumentative part of this thread because I'm not really up for it. I just didn't really see the need to assume people would make comments on your sexuality, because it wasn't relevant :/ If you would like me to make a comment, I will: Awesome. You're gay. There's nothing wrong with it and I wish I had more confidence, like you clearly have, to tell people.

We have Lush here, the natural products are great, but I had no idea that they campaigned against reptile keeping, so I probably won't go there any more. It seems they have exaggerated greatly and are making reptile keepers out to be heartless, uncaring people <---No way intended to be a dig at your boyfriend/husband or lump all Lush employees together. I applied for a job there myself a while ago, and had they asked me to stand outside or dress up as a chameleon and sit in a cage to campaign for something I don't believe in, I'd have taken my coat and walked out right there and then....WITH all their leaflets.

yeah i found out about the campagne at the time the python ban was happening.
sucks but i was ok with it because
well no i wasnt ok with it but couldnt do anything about it. was too late and didnt look into it because i was trying to spread the word and get people to sign the pettitions against the ban.

i have the skin to take the thrash but its just pointless,
and needs not be aimed at me,
alls i was wanting to talk about was the tar sands,

A point that is much more clear now than it was at the time you presented it.

Maybe I'm just tired, or I'm completely thick and missing the part where you explained...

But I still don't understand why you brought up your sexuality? It's not an issue that relates to the thread. I'm not looking for an argument. I'm just simply saying it was a little unfair to assume that people on the forum would jump at the chance to comment negatively.

No I brought it up just to turn some feathers and prove how totally off topic everything got.
