    Reptile Survey

Hi everyone! Our rescue is conducting a survey on what type of reptiles people own. If you could either post or email (destinyserea@aol.com) a list of the herps your currently own it would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Re: Reptile Survey

    vanessa,
I looked over the site you had posted and read this on your ball python caresheet section:

"Requirements - Tropical temperatures of 77º – 88º during the day and 63º - 73º at night (use a thermometer).''

Those temperatures are not really good for a ball python. A ball python should have a warm and cool side of their enclosure. The warm side of the enclosure should range from 90-95 deg. and the cool side should range from 80-85 deg. A night drop is really not necessary unless you are breeding ball pythons. The minimum temperature that a ball python enclosure should get is 75 deg. Temperatures below 80 deg. can cause the snake to develop respiratory infections.

    Just trying to help out.

look at the caresheets on this site and check your info...if you have any questions just ask.

    Re: Reptile Survey

    2 Bearded Dragons (Pogona Vitticeps)
1 Redtail Boa Constrictor (Boa Constrictor Imperator)
    2 Ball Pythons (Python Regius)
    1 Crested Gecko (Rhacodactlyus Cilliatus)
    2 Leopard Geckos (Eublepharis Macularius)

Used to have a Mali Uromastyx but I sold him.

Had a ton of eastern box turtles in the past.

I would also like to know what this is for...?
