Shed before ovy?

Well I haven't seen big momma ovulate yet even though shes looking super thick but she shed today. I'm wondering if maybe I missed her ovy completely and this is her pre-lay or if they typically shed before ovulating as well?

Shes not as big as I would think she'd be with a tummy full of eggs but shes noticeably larger than normal.

Yes on both accounts, but it's really easy to miss an ovulation, they last less then a day.

I don't see most of my snakes ovulate, only if they happen to do it on a cleaning day or a feeding day.

Did she glow for you or no. Sometimes it can help as they will glow before and after ovy till they have their prelay shed.

Not every girl will glow and some will ovulate longer than a day. I have one girl thats odd ball and past 3 years stays swollen for 2-3 days

Yeah I have that same issue with my spider who just ovulated yesterday she still looks swollen today and this is day number 2 so Im glad you have the same thing happen to you Rich i was starting to get worried lol.

But it sounds a little more like she is building for you maybe not ovulating yet thats how it was with my spider until it was like ok now I can tell thats an ovulation.

She did seem lighter for a couple weeks but I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me because I wanted her to be glowing. maybe I just missed the ovy. how long after a pre lay shed do they typically look full of eggs? Like I said, shes thicker than normal but not as big as I would expect.

my female turned colors a little bit and then had a build or ovy every one that saw the pics said it was a build but then eggs arrived 4 days ago here are pics when she had an ovy doesent look like one but it was and her color wasnt an intense change either just count the days after she shed and maby you will get lucky and find eggs or an ovy http://i1057.photobucket.com/albums/...h_SANY1000.jpg

They look full of eggs about 10-12 days before laying
