We love the fresh eggs. I don't think I could eat eggs from store ever again. They are the best pets to. We love to let them roam the yard when we are out in it. We have buff orpingtons, speckled sussex , austrolops and amercaunas. Congrats on your first chickens.Originally Posted by Anatopism
Cute! We picked up a couple chicks a couple weeks ago. First chickens ever, and boy do they grow fast. They are a Rhode Island Red and a Black Sexlink. The RIR is considerably more outgoing when I take them on excursions in the back yard
What kinds are yours? Do you have them primarily as pets or for eggs or both?
