Females more expensive than males.
Y is it that females are more expensive than males? I can think of a few reasons but whats the real reason?

Re: Females more expensive than males.
Here's the "duh" reason:
Females lay eggs. Eggs mean babies. Babies mean $$. Pretty simple.
Some other reasons I came up with, based on my experience working at a pet store:
- Males seem to be more plentiful than females. I'm not sure if this is a fact overall, but it seems like we get wayy more males in than females. This may also be a result of breeders holding back more females so they can get more babies, and ditching the males because they may already have a few good, proven breeder males.
- Females get larger. In the pet trade, generally, a bigger snake gets bigger bucks.

Economics ... Supply and Demand ... The supply of males is greater than the supply of females .... Why you ask? Because a breeder can breed one male to many females ... Therefore all of the breeders out there are buying up females (or holding them back) for their breeding projects and selling males cheaply because they already have enough males.
Hope this helps.

With some exceptions here and there (like my lemon pastel male) females are generally larger than males when fully grown.

Do they get larger in respect to the lenth or in terms of width, or is it both.
