    heating question

if you were to stick a second uth on the side of the tank rather than the bottom, could that raise the ambient temp? obviously controlled to 80, i'm just wondering if that would work in a tub

Is there any way to increase ambient temps short of rhp or jacking the heat in the house?

ok, You could use a heat bulb or even a Ceramic Heat Emitter. You could also get an oil filler heater to heat just the area by the tub.

I honestly dont know how youd use a bulb with a tub lol? maybe have the lamp on but suspend it above the tub enough so it doesnt melt it...

With a bulb or CHE you hang it over the tub far enough away that it wink melt the tub but it still adds some heat to the tub.

Oil filler heaters can be purchased at a place like home depot and maybe even Walmart (but I'm not sure about that)
