    New pics

updated pics of my pastel female Gertrude, plus one quick question, i fed her two adult mice f/t she ate one right away on normal feeding day and i left the other one there and ate it next day. she is roughly 8months old, got her in feb and she was brought into pet store in nov when she was couple months old. her feeding habits are great usualy once a week on sunday 1 f/t, but i noticed lately that by thursday shes very active roaming around so i figured she is hungry so i doubled it this week. Am i feeding her to much by doing that? i know i should weigh her and feed her a percent of what her body weight is, but this morning she looked crabby and eyes were hazy(prob going into shed) and has yet to finish digesting. So i am hoping by pics you can help with determine how much to feed her. thanks

    She's a great looking BP!

The best way to determine how much to feed her is by checking her current weight and then feeding her 10-15% of her body weight.

Some will tell you to feed her prey that is almost as wide as the widest part of her body, but that is very subjective.

A good scale is invaluable to a snake keeper. It eliminates guessing and help you keep track of her weight progress.

She is pretty, i give my girls 2 adults mice a week, one on sat and the other on tues/weds, one was hatched on 10/5/11 last weight was 210g and the other 10/3/11 last weight was 198g, they seem to be doing good for now, will be switching to rats here soon enough though.
