We are a very small band, with only 25-40 marching winds depending on the year, but we won the florida Marching Band Championships 7 years in a row! Really cool. I'm in my high school's marching band (Low brass section leader, aw yeah) Unfortunately we're still fairly new, so we aren't very big. We started our first winter guard/ percussion ensemble for the first time this year (participating in that as well. Bass 4.) Nowhere near this level, but maybe one day. Mind if I share this on my band's facebook page? They could all use a bit of insight into what we should be striving for, because we're all pretty new to it. Half of us are wind players, so you can imagine how it's working out.
