Spider Wobble more noticeable when Breeding?

Not sure if this is the right section. But I was wondering. I have a male spider that I have had for a while now. I have never noticed a wobble on him at all, not even during feeding. Well I decided to pair him up with a female today, and he went nuts. Shooting across her and flipping over and I think corkscrewing, never seem corkscrewing before. Is this just excitement that has caused this suddenly very noticeable wobble/corkscrewing? Will he calm down and be able to breed or is this going to be to much for him? Thanks.

They can start showing wobble at anytime and almost anything can trigger it. Give I'm some time, he should settle down.

Yeah that is what he was doing, just way more violently.

Anything can trigger a spider's wobble, so if that behavior keeps up breeding him may not be the best idea.

Akira, Did he settle down and stop the wobble/corkscrewing after a time with the female?

I had gotten this spider as a proven breeder. So I was hoping to breed him. But we will see if he calms down with my female.

Wow, just realized what I said had two things hardly related mashed together. What I meant to say was that anything can trigger the wobble, so for your spider it may be breeding. It might just be this specific time. If he doesn't seem to calm down at all I would assume that he's just not fit for breeding, since I don't think much would be accomplished with him going nuts.

Do you know for a fact the female is a female? I have seen mistakes happen in sexing before and even though its exacerbated by the spider wobble other males will freak out when being placed with another male. This male being a spider it's not uncommon for him getting excited and having a more pronounced wobble during breeding but I would definately double check that female. Some just get more excited than others but if he's really freaking out my first move would be to double check her. Especially if you've never bred her before. If she is a she, he should calm down. For some they don't and they shouldn't be bred. Most will relax after awhile. Just a thought.
