Spider doesn't seem to want to use his hide?

My new spider came yesterday along with two other BP's and he seems to prefer to hang around in the vines near the top of his cage instead of doing what the others do and go in his hides. The two females will spend all day in their hide on the warmer end whereas he'll just sit by the water dish or curl up in (what i've deemed) his tree house.

I'm sure this is just new parent jitters but is anything wrong with what he's doing?

if it is one night, i would prolly put it off as new home jitters, give it a few days and see how he does. i would think if he is staying up near the top, the floor of the cage may not be to his liking heat wise.

Yes, give him some time to aclimate to his new surroundings. If I remember correctly from back in the day, when I put my first Normal BP from PETCO in a glass tank it took him a while to start using his hides.
