    yes this is a ceramic heater with 100watt! why is very very bad?

    well your ball can and most likely will touch it they should never be able to come in contact with the heat souce. even if you don't think it will get to it it will.

    i will never put the wood near the ceramic heat. bp can walk on the galss and touch it? i have head pad to stay here.

    they find ways to get to the heat. if i was you i would just get a light fixture with a shroud (sp) and but it on top after you cut a hole out for it and but a screen over the hole just to play it safe. i have seen some nasty burns on balls and is your heat tape controled by a thermastat (sp). if not it should be even though it is on the out side.

    No, you wanna make sure that they never touch the glass on the bottom specially if you have an UTH or heat tape of any sort, that's bad news allover the place .

    i also have head pad in the cool area. hot area= 32-35 and cool 26-29 right ? on day
    expect the ceramic heat. the cage is good for ball python? is 80x50x50cm 52 USGALLONS

    that looks good just test it out before you place the snake in there now do you have a thermastat to control your heat mat
