    Ongoing BP Question Thread

I keep having to post multiple threads for single short questions, so this will be the thread I post them in to save space.

My BP's belly and side scales seem to be "catching" extra much recently and he is starting to get pink belly/go into shed again. Is there a correlation between scales catching more often and beginning a shed?

I think this may also be the reason why I hear this clicking noise. I've thought it was a possible RI, but it comes and goes, and isn't consistent.. only happens when he's out of the enclosure and moving.

The sound you are hearing is the scales popping most likely because the snake is getting ready to shed. I heard a similar sound in my female het ghost and I had posted on here about it. My female is currently in shed also.

Every snake that I have handled, including my balls and my boa, when they go pink it is like there scales are flake or loose I think there skin kind of loosens to allow the new skin to grow in to it.

Aye sounds like the start of shed nothing to worry about your snake should go blue in a couple days. Then it will have a nice new skin My Pied girl always picks up a little Eco Earth under her scales when she is just starting to turn pink belly and I do hear a lot of poping and snaping if I handle her during this time
    Hope this helps
