    Rack questions!

A little background info: small breeder with 19 BPs. In the military, so we move alot and weight is a concern.

Need to buy: adult rack prefferably with 15-20 tubs
yearling rack (not a hatchling size! whatever is next size up) 15- 20 tubs.
Trying to spend less than $1500....

Here is my current rack that my wonderful husband built me but its heavy and I can not move it around by myself at all. We have two clutches in the incubator right now and I have a hatchling rack (18 tubs) but I am looking ahead and trying to be prepared.

I have been looking at the vision racks and animal plastics but I can not find the tubs anywhere on the internet for either of these companies...
    So any help or recommendations??

Vision sells tubs n their site, for AP it depends on which rack you choose as certain rack from them use one brand and other racks use different brand tubs.

which ones are you looking at?

Vision racks are open sided which means they don't hold heat as well, but they will be lighter.

AP makes both open sided racks and enclosed racks so you can choose either style with them.

I was looking at the vision
    Sterilite 32qt. Clearview Model # 1756 23" X 16" X 6" tall 10high-$339.00 w/ heat no tubs
    and the
    Sterilite 15qt. Clearview Model # 1754 17" X 11" X 6" tall 10 high- $359.00c/ heat no tubs.

And the animal plastics the enclosed ones but I still cant find tubs! Vision says they can get it but dont list prices. I have calls and messages at vision but no response. Animal plastics says follow the link and it doesn't work....just frustrating.

Sterilite tubs can be found at Target and usually Walmart as well. Some Dollar stores have then as well.

The ones that AP uses can easily be found at Target or Walmart, i assure you. Im pretty sure that their economy racks are open sided and theyre obvi made of pvc. This makes them super light. And when you need to move they break down. When AP ships them to you it comes in a flat box. So moving with them would be fairly simple i imagine.

These are some of the best ones. However for your specific situation, i would really reccommend the AP economy rack i described above^^
its ability to break down flat seems ideal for you. Some other companies may have similar products but idk. Youll have to research it a bit, but if you go with AP i bet you wont be disapointed

Even the standard enclosed AP racks can break down flat so They are who I would go with if I knew I was going to be moving a lot.
