    How do you cut it length wise? This sounds like a good idea for smaller snakes.

    to the OP: I have just one over the hotspot for adults. even though they dont "need" it, they still use it alot so i leave it in there for them. For my male cinny whose still smaller i have one on the hot side and one on the cool side. Hes alot more nervous and shy so i figure if i dont give him one on the cool side then he'd never come out of the warm hide lol
