What's the best way to get my BP used to me?

Hey everybody. My female BP is great with handling, but she is still pretty skittish. Anytime there's a movement near her, or a loud noise, she jumps back. So my question to you all, what is the best way to handle her to get her used to me? I've heard of "little and often". But do yall think I should just let her explore on me, or maybe keep her in my hands and move her around? Just let me know what y'all have done to get your bp used to you. I know it takes time, but I'm just wondering

I would just let her do what she wants to do. it takes time. give it maybe 6 weeks. if you don't see any improvement in 6 weeks then you might need to change what you are doing. I would handle her for 10 minutes 3 times a week.

Keep handeling as you would normally let her acclimate to you and yes they will always be jumpy arround fast movements. How old is your snake. Remember little snakes are food for other snakes and animals as they get bigger they will settle down but always a little jumpy

Mine will jump sometimes if I approach his tank too quickly. When I handle him I find if I move slowly and calmly every time I take him out, and I just let him sit for a few minutes in my arms without stimulating him much until he starts moving around on his own, he is a lot calmer. He's also calmer when I make sure to support him enough so he doesn't need to cling to me.

Younger hatchlings tend to be more jumpy. I would just let then explore your hands. Don't man handle them. I would try 5-10 minutes at a time. letting her move around as she is comfortable. Each bp is different though, so what may work for one, may not work for another.
