Anyone need some 9 pound rats?

Apparently they have some in the Florida Keys: http://www.keysnet.com/2012/03/24/43...-found-on.html

It is highly advised not to feed wild rats to captive snakes.

Indeed it is not. I should have added If anyone does see any 9 pound rats running around I am not advising them to try to catch them and feed them.

However, if you are not familiar with 9 pound rats (bigger than a typical cat) then I would advise you to click the above link and check them out!

Lol. We highly recommend feeding wild and invasive 9 pounds rats to ball pythons here...Really though, I'm pretty sure it was a joke.

Maybe Florida shouldn't be looking to get rid of those billions of Burmese Pythons after all...

hmm sounds like food source for the burms. They should take care of them if they ever made it to the glades.

I've always wanted a gambian pouch rat as a pet. They're very popular in Europe and apparantly make good pets. They're used as working animals sometimes too.

Some labs use them to sniff out certain compounds.
And I believe they are used to sniff out mine bombs in other countries?
