    Freezing the substrate bag won't get rid of the mites. The adults will die, but the eggs can lie dormant until the proper conditions arise.

    Oh yeah. Also forgot to say in my last post to remove all enclosure accessories and to wash them in hot water-bleach solution. Mites lay eggs everywhere!
