mites

Thanks everyone for the advise! One of my snakes is about to shed... does that matter any?

So far everything is out of the cage and hubby is about to go get Provent a Mite, hopefully our local store has it, if not it's quite a distance to go to the Reptile store.

The guy I bought my new snake off of said mites can come in othe the wood chips? Is that true? He also said when I purchase the shavings to freeze the bag for an hour....

I forgot to say that he also said I had to pick the mites out of the scales, but didn't tell me how... is there any info about that anywhere?
