The absolute best thing you can do is to slowly let your neighbors interact with your snake. I have had a 11ft burmese python out at a park and most people were scared but I also had 70 plus year old ladies coming up to them and telling me they are really beautiful when they see how relaxed they can be. I think thats a huge step when it comes to socializing with my neighbors
