Do you think his supervisor has any idea? Even if he saw his thread I think he'll have a hard time finding AEnimaDrummer on the payroll.Wow, some people in that thread really made it seem like dealing, let alone talking with Chris is akin to being accepted into some secret society. These comments are more directed at what was implied in that old Fauna thread.
(1) If they are as secretive and exclusive as was made out to be on that thread, do you think they would appreciate someone announcing that they have access to them? Or better yet, do you think that your supervisor would appreciate such an exclusive arrangement being aired on a forum?
Please do not take this the wrong way, but if you were my employee, I would be pretty cross if I found out you were encouraging people to start hunting them down. Whether you meant it or not, I can guarantee you that most of the people who read this thread will start hunting for info on them. If I were LA Reptiles, I would be less than pleased.
(2) I have their contact information - does that make me special? I really think that the Fauna thread painted a somewhat misleading picture.
(3) There are a lot of quality people in this business who don't have websites, but have been well known in this hobby for decades as breeding and selling top notch animals. I know several of them who do not post their stock on fauna or kingsnake or any other site, but who are pioneers in the species they produce. They were here before the current household names and they will be here after the current household names burn out and fade away.
I think it's great that the store you work for is one that LA Reptiles has agreed to do business with. Unless things have changed, you should have access to some interesting animals. If you are so inclined, it may be an opportunity for you to get into some species that you may not normally have access to or be able to afford.
