I read all 3 books and saw the movie on opening night. I really really liked the books and thought the movie was a well done adaptation. I realize there's stuff that's got to be cut and I thought the director or whomever makes those decisions did a good job.

One thing that irked me didn't have anything to do with the movie, but the audience. During the times where they'd flash to Gale back in 12 when Katniss was being intimate with Peeta, the audience (made up of mostly teen girls) would laugh. I totally don't understand why they thought this guy's pain was funny. I mean how would you feel if the girl you loved was being broadcast over the whole nation kissing another guy!? Makes me concerned for the future if the next generation thinks stuff like that is funny.

Overall though, I really hope they make the next 2 books into movies (I don't see how they won't).
