    Feeding Issue!

Im having feeding problems lately, started about a little over 4weeks ago, nothing has changed. Temps are all steady and within the ideal range.

I,ve been feeding frozen thawed from the start.

I allow them to thaw in the snake room untill thawed, then heat with blow dryer untill completly warmed. then heat the head up.

I dangle it untill the python strikes and wraps. they hold it for awhile, then let go and smell and flick there toungue at it for awhile, then just leave it. I leave overnight, but they still dont eat it?

    Help, Ideas, suggestions?

Are you having this problem with one snake or multiple? It's a little hard to tell from your post.

Are the rodents the right size, and are they heated to 100 degrees?

I have never taken the tempreture of the feed, is 100d the acceptile temp for feed? And ive been feeding smaller feed at the moment as my store which I get from has terrible qaulity rats, so im feeding jumbo mice.

My male has always been a very aggresive eater, The two females are the ones who started doing this. They usualy do this for at least 2 or 3 weeks, then they finnaly take the food. one will do it while the other eats, then that one will stop and the other starts it seems like

    They are around 400ish grams

I know Pythons are picky eaters, but I would think if they strike and wrap, that they would continue on to eat

100 degrees is the body temperature of rats so it is the temperature snakes will look for when seeking food.

The rodents being smaller might have something to do with it, but it also might not.

I agree with above, reheating and offering again usually works when they constrict the rodent but not eat it.
