Clutch size determines build time?

I dont think clutch size determines build time. Its a fallacious way of thinking in that something that seems it should be one way doesnt necessarily mean it will be. My largest female with an estimated 10 eggs in her is due to lay in the next week and my smaller females with 4-7 follicles havnt even ovulated yet and they started building around the same time. I think it has alot more to do with age of females, if they have been bred before, husbandry, feeding, size, what cycle they are on, and overall whenever they decide they are ready to go.

I had one female with 8 eggs lay at almost exactly 4 months from starting to pair, and 2 of my really big girls that feel like they have 10-12 follicles each have been paired since end of October and are still building. I have a smaller girl that feels like 5-6 follicles that is getting big and she was just started pairing end of December. I know its all a ploy to stress me out and test my patience

What was the longest anyone's female took from pairing to laying?
