    Thumbs down

Its probably nothing to worry about unless you notice her openong her mouth, making popping sounds, or see bubbles from her nose and mouth area. if you notice any of those things its possibly an RI and needs checked by a vet. But i'm in no way trying to worry you, just informing you of what to watch for. Keep us posted, and good luck.

I thought that quick tongue flickering means that the snake is agitated.. and slower tongue flickering means the snake is calmer and smelling around.

When I first got my snake his tongue would come only halfway out and it would be quickly flicking up and down and then back in..

Now that he is more used to handling his tongue comes all the way out and it's a slower fully extended flickering.

Am I wrong? I thought slower means the snake was more relaxed.

Samgoody, when your snake is doing the slow flicker do you see more of her tongue than you did before when it was quicker.. or is it the same length?
