    What is this ball python????

I found this snake from someone local. I haven't purchased her yet since I'm not quite sure what she is. The person who has her said she was sold to them as a pastel hypo, but turned out not to be. I took some pics of her and want to get some input before I bought her. Thanks!!!!!

It's a pastel. Definitely not a hypo pastel. Maybe they meant pastel het hypo. But you'd have to prove that out if you bought the animal.

It's a low-mid grade pastel. It may be het hypo. The head is not as blushed as a high grade one, and it's definitely going to brown out as an adult. It's already started to.

It def has pastel in it but I dont see hypo. Very clean though and with a crazy pattern. I would def pick it up it looks like something is going on there, it looks like theres more to it to me than just pastel. However I would not pay more than the price of a pastel unless they could prove that it was something else.

    Shes a pastel imo.
Maybe shes het hypo and thats why shes got a funky pattern going on. If you like the dark, almost black parts on her, go for it. I personally like some blushing in my pastels and dont see much with her...

I think you have a high grade pastel jungle there. Don't worry about the color, they tend to be darker and more black. If it is you will be pleased when you combine this with another gene. I would encourage you to pick it up and dink with, you really can't lose anything here if you buy it at full pastel price.

Ben Renick is a great souce when you need to identify the gene. He is working with a jungle line and took the time to assist me with identification. You can also look at the belly, sometimes they have spotting up the sides. Here are a couple of mine for comparison, hope this helps.
