Smelly Snake
How do you clean your snake when he smells like poop?

Take a wet papertowl and gently wipe them down or just wait for them to shed.

I see nothing wrong with a nice little bath, we do it if they have mites. Why not if they have poop on them.

I have yet to have a snake that smelled (if you keep the cage clean you shouldn't have any issues)
If they slither through poo, then just run them through a wet towel maybe even use a small (diluted) safe cleaner like chlorhexidine/ F10. Even dawn dish soap will work. There are even commercial ensile based cleaners that can be used (once again when diluted)

Because it stresses them out, we do it when they have mites because it is the better of 2 evils.
*Edit*
Some might be better with taking baths than others but I know that all of mine flip out the second they touch the water (which was the proper temperature)

When it comes to Ball Pythons I try to always take the least stressful path. BP baths cause undue stress and are a last resort for me.

Guess some of mine are freaks then, of the snakes I have bathed they seemed to care less. Just another instance that shows all snakes have different personalitys.
