Question about BELs
Ok so I have been wondering. I think the Blue Eyed Lucy's are beautiful, But I really like the Black Eyed Lucy's. The black eye with the red pupil is to cool So how do you produce a black eyed one? I know that doing a lesser to lesser or mojave to mojave or crossing a lesser to mojave will produce a Blue eyed one, or is it a shot in the dark if you will get a blue or black eyed one from these breedings? Or do you have to breed something completely different to get the black eyed ones? Thanks.

embers i dont understand, both founding animals (sulfur and ember) were bought at the same pet store at the same time. how ever the lines are kept separate because we can't be sure if their the same..... they look the same and act the same genetically and oh yea were both bought at the same time in the same place....hmmm i wonder if they might just be the same gene.... far out idea i know.
lemonback however was a gene that looked like a high quality fire and the super was the whitest black eye lucy I ever saw. It is suspected to be allelic with fire/sulfur, but no one ever proved it. The fire at pro-exotics took out most of the lemonbacks . imo it was the best of the black eye lucy genes. hopefully the ones that were sold will repopulate the lemonback market.
