    Well, you're not looking at breeding immediately, because if your girl goes to your friend, she needs to quarantine her for sixty days before introducing the male, or if the male comes to you - you need to quarantine him for sixty days before breeding - so you're looking at May now for starting to breed.

    Some breeders are breeding year round.

    Whatever you decide - ESPECIALLY if it's a friend, you need to draw up a contract that states exactly how you plan to split the clutch, who's responsible for any vet bits, what the replacement cost would be if the loaned animal dies in the other's care, and so on.

    And it's not very common in my experience that in a breeding loan one person gets just normals while the other walks away with all the morphs.
