Rat crawlers?
Where do you buy them? Do they sell them in petco or anywhere. Trying to get my ball python to get on rats seemin hes not eating anything right now refused 4 week straight adult mice. So just wondering where to get rat crawlers thanks!

Most reptile shops will have them, big box pet stores aren't the best place to buy feeders as they are usually overpriced.
If you don't have a local reptile shop, you can order them online from a place like Rodent pro

So would rat crawlers be considered "pups" or "weaned" Or what on that website? Thanks for the help

I would probably say pups, but one persons rat pup can be another's weaned.
The best thing to do is just go by weight. The Rodent Pro site lists the weight range for each size that they sell so all you need to do is weigh your BP.
Bp's should eat rodents that weigh 10-15% of their body weight.
*example*
so a 100 gram BP should eat a 15 gram rodent (100 x 0.15 = 15)

I consider crawlers right before weaned. But it's only a week or two differences of age between the two.

Need to be sure that this information is only applied to hatchlings. As the 10-15% rule is a user preference. And is defiantly overfeeding when you get to adults.
Who would feed a 300g rat to a ball python

Indeed, I assumed since the OP was asking about rat crawlers that we were talking about a hatchling lol. but yes I probably should have mentioned that.

Roden Pro and other alike will knock you over the head with S&H costs. Probably better off going to a local retile show if one is in their area don't you think? That is if one is in the area. I myself had to buy online. 10 small rats for like 12 or 13 bucks plus 30sum dollars s&h. At the last show I went to $1.25 for a small rat! Need I say more?
