Well it was my friend at the petstore that told me she was outraged about it as well. She is one of the few people at that store that rescues the pets and REFUSES to kill them. She's even told me of a few surrenders that need homes now.Not all pet stores are bad.Originally Posted by RestlessRobie
Yet another reason I dislike the large box store petstores. My current rescue was taken in at a mom and pop store who called me to see if I would like the snake. Needless to say I now have another snake great looking normal female
Sorry to hear about what happened to the other snake but our animal control here will kill just about anything they take in it seems. One of the officers was telling me they killed all the black dogs one week because they were running out of room
