Neurological issues?

I have a spider ball with a mild-moderate head wobble. Sometimes it does not show up much, other times she will strike 3-4 times before hitting a f/t rat.
Since I've had her she does this odd dance (well that's what I call it) at night. She will sit on top of something and flip her head around. She goes left to right, and her head flips every which way including upside down. I was warned of IBD. She displays no symptoms of that disease, she is slightly underweight because of neglect from her previous owner, but has been gaining weight like crazy. She eats better than any ball I've ever seen, she sheds with no problems. No rattling, no mucus, no mouth rot. She has no issues whatsoever except the wobble and this odd dance. I'll say again she is a spider. And she is my only reptile. Has anyone else ever seen this or know why it's happening? Any input would be awesome.

Not that I'm a expert on spiders but sounds normal to me.
You shouldn't worry to much about IBD if it's your only snake nothing can be done but it doesn't sound like it has it anyway.

That is fairly normal spider behaviour. They carry a genetic flaw that presents as a neurological issue. Head wobbles twisting and turning poor aim is all common with spiders.

My male spider does this all the time, and it gets much worse during breeding season. Poor guy can't even think straight when he is with the ladies.

The thing is that princess's wasn't a spider. There are many threads and youtube videos about spider wobble. I suggest watching them to gain all the knowledge you can about wobble. I myself love spiders and the wobble doesn't prevent me from loving them. Its sorta cute in a way like a bulldogs squashed face. My spider and I are best friends anyways.

Ball Python legend has it that the very first wild caught Spider was a wonky neuro case, and every one since has either had it or carried it with them. It's one of the things that make a Spider a Spider.

Yup, just sound like a spider wobble to me. You can watch you tube videos and see some extreme cases. They all have it, some very mild, some more so. Sometimes different things get it going, like stress, feeding, change. They are great though, I love the spiders.
