    animal plastics

looking to buy an animal plastics cage. I am trying to decide if I shoud get the 48x24x12 or 48x24x15 for my ball pythons. I will be getting one now for my 4.5ft 2200g male and not get the next until my 350g lesser male needs to upgrade. I am worried that the 12inch one will be really hard to see the snake and hard to clean but it is a lot cheaper. do any of you have them?

You may want to talk to The Serpent Merchant about animal plastics. He is the best I know and he knows everything about them. He has answered any and all questions I have had and was very patient with me.

First off, check out this thread I wrote on AP cages and PVC cages in general

    http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...With-Pictures!

The T8 (48 x 24 x 12) is the best choice for BP's, you can see in them fine and they are easy to clean.

    I have 4 T8's (48 x 24 x 12) and a T12 (48 x 24 x 24) I use the T8's for my BP's and the T12 for my carpet python. The added cost for a 48 x 24 x 15 isn't worth the 3 extra inches in my opinion.

This is one of my T8's with a divider: (without the glass doors on)

Yes you can, I suggest the 40 watt RHP from reptile basics:
