I live in south FL, so there is an established iguana population here, and they often get hit by cars. Today, driving home, Mom saw one that was hit, and saw eggs laying around it. She turned the car around, and she took the good looking eggs off the street while I cut open the dead iguana to see if there were any eggs left inside her. There were some, but others had popped, so they were all surrounded by what felt like hardened scrambled egg. I have very little hope for these eggs, but never the less I put them in a couple plastic shoe boxes with vermiculite as I have done for other eggs in the past. I will continue to check the eggs and throw them out as they go bad.
I just wanted to share my story and ask what your opinions are on the eggs.
