Just wondering, are both hides identical? Small clay pot bottoms, you know, the bowls that sit underneath clay pots and catch water, work well. They are round and low to the ground. Those half-log hides(if that is what you have) do not work well, and leave the snake out in the open. Just aren't a very secure hide.
I have noticed Amani spends alot of time over in her cool side hide, but occassionally she'll be over on the warm side. It's not too big of a deal, as the cool side is 83-85 all of the time.
Just so the hides are identical, then I don't think you'll have a problem. Although I would up the warm side temps to 93-95 and the cool side to 82-84. Helps the snake be a consistent eater. Hope that helps a bit.![]()
