Their diet consists of small animals, such as birds, lizards, and small mammals. They are also known to prey on other snakes. Best i could come up with.

I would imagine being a ground boa from Madagascar that eats small mammals and birds that it eats any Madagascan bird or mammal that it can catch and swallow..
So then, google all Madagascan wildlife, do some research, and I'm sure you could make a list of things the Dumerils would likely eat in the wild. There are no references for these things since most boas no matter where they're found, eat mammals and birds native to that area.

*Factoid: "There are no such things as Hogg Island or Columbian boas"
mine is really finicky too but ive found if i can get the house dead silent and feed him a freshly killed mouse he will eat but ive had no luck with frozen or live
also ive found that he burrows most of the time but is mostly out on the cooler side when it is around 71 - 74 and every once in a while he will bask at around 78 - 81 ..... i maintain a hot spot of 80 - 85 cool side 71 - 74 humidity from 40% to 60%
