    Might have to try this...

    http://www.thelooksforless.com/2011/...skin-manicure/

We started with a Seche Clear Crystal Clear Base Coat and two coats of Sally Hansen’s Petal Pusher pink (last seen here). Next, each piece of snake was trimmed to the size of my nails. Each nail was painted with Seche Vite Top Coat, and before it could dry, the snake was placed on the nail and then secured with another top coat. Because of the texture, I really couldn’t wear this for longer than a couple of days, but it is perfect for a night out or special occasion!

Can you believe that we recreated a $300 salon manicure for free, using nail polish we already had and free snake sluff? What do you think of this snakeskin manicure? Is this something you would try?

Totally weird. I dunno, maybe I'll try.

What do you think? Crazy, thrifty/neat, or a bit of both?

Ooooh, my wife will love this! I've seen articles of salons doing this but this is the first I've seen of a DIY. Thanks.

Here's my (less than professional) attempt. It's not dry yet so pardon the mess.

I like it. Not bad for a first shot either.

One of my friends did something similar to this except she did it with newspaper. It came out pretty neat looking. Cool stuff either way!

    Thanks!!

All done! Success....ish. It looks kind of silly but I'm impressed. Here's hoping it stays.

I don't paint my nails often, as you can see. But this was just too neat to pass up.

Well, they've stayed on thus far. They look a lot better now than in the above pics, actually. Having washed my hands a lot today I was able to shed (no pun intended) the excess off.

If anyone tries this I wanna see your pics!

My GF who is deathly afraid of my BP and sleeps on the other side of the bed as far way from the tank as possible. I'm slowly using exposure therapy to get her over this fear, right now she can look at the snake from a safe distance inside the cage. She thinks my baby ball python is going to try and try eat her in her sleep. Anyway, she saw this in cosmo magazine and said she was going to get it done to help "support" my snake.
