That's why I sanded off the one paint job and put on the other.
I couldn't stand staring down at his face anymore.
Did you get the "Dead Again" album?
Talk about prescient.
RIP, Petros.

I did about 2 years of research preparing for her and brought her home on 2/18/2012
As the day of the expo (where I went to find her) was coming closer, I tried to think of names I would give to my new friend. I had a good list in my head when I went to the expo.
She was the first animal that really caught my eye, but I still looked around a little bit. Didn't really see too much else that I liked within my budget so I went back and scooped her up, went across the expo for feeders, and then started home.
While we were in the car I started going through the names again. The one that came to my mind that I already thought of was Kiba, but I didn't want to be cheesy and name her after an anime character. The first new name that came to my head was Kiva. And so she is called, though sometimes just Ki (pronounced key). And I think it suits her. What do you think?

I think she's lovely.....
Did you know that a Kiva is a sacred ceremonial building that was used by Native Americans?
They held snakes in high regard.
Perfect name.

I did better than that.. A few years before he died I saw them in Chicago. Got to hang with Pete in the bar next to the venue and they all signed my ticket and Pete signed my Steel Di** CD (He signed his appropriate "part" in the booklet haha!) And the CD itself.

I name my snakes in names that I just like or like the sound of.
Though Calcifer my King was named after the fire demon character in Howl's Moving Castle (I love anything Studio Ghibli, they can do no wrong)
Capona was a play on Al Capone
Everyone elses names were just from hearing them around and I liked them

Oh, fer gad's sake.
Everybody and their dog have either met Pete or Alice Cooper, hung out with them wherever they found them lurking about but I can't get near them!
WTH!?!
LOL
Oh well.
At the last concert I was in the front row and Alice messed with me a lot and at the end of the show, flung his cane right into me.
[which is why I always tell people "Alice Cooper hit me with a stick"]...
That was the high point of my pitiful little life...:-P
Geeze.
I'm never in the right place at the right time.
