Jinx, it was suggested to me by Rich at RBI to use one of my on/off thermostats as a type of safety. Do you do this? Basically he said to set the VE200 to get the tub temp right and plug it in to the on/off t-stat, setting the on/off t-stat about three degrees higher in case the VE200 fails. Obviously both probes on the heat tape, VE plugged into the on/off and the on/off plugged into the wall.Originally Posted by jinx667
