Can I get her ready in time?

My 2010 Pastel female is a bit small for her age at around 400g. She was a hold back but I liked her too much and got her thrown in with the male pastel. Is it possible to get her ready to breed in time for next season without over loading her diet?

They all grow at different rates, but it seems like she is a slow grower so I will say that she probably won't be ready.

I agree with Aaron. My summer 2011 babies are all almost 500 grams. Well...except for one but that's a whole other story. I would just feed her appropriately and if she's ready, she's ready...if not, no harm in waiting another year.

She probably wont be ready. Its better to be patient and let her gain some more weight. Itll be a bigger clutch and healthier for her...

400g on a 2010?? Does she eat? My guess is that she may always be under sized.

That's quite a bit of weight to make up on a girl that sounds like a slow gainer.

She probably won't get up to a safe weight by next season.
However, don't just look at a weight goal.
You have to look at your snake's length to weight ratio as well. Some girls just don't grow large, but are still within a healthy weight for their size.
