BP Breeders or reputable shops near Oshawa Ontario?

I am looking to get my first BP and I live in Oshawa (they aren't allowed here :S) I know there is a PJ's pets in Pickering which isn't too bad. I am looking for a Normal or a less expensive morph to start.

I was looking at All Reptiles in Scarborough as another option but that is a little further and in a very busy area. I would like to avoid that if possible. I am sure there are more places in Ajax and Pickering area.

Any help and experiences both positive and negative are appreciated.

They aren't allowed in Oshawa??! Being in the GTA, I didn't think the rules were different.

Yeah it is some stupid Bylaw. Every surrounding area is ok but not us slummin it in the shwa.

I know the owner of All Reptiles and they definitely would be a much better option than any big chain pet store. Please do not buy animals from chain pet stores because they are treated extremely badly and if they are bought by customers, the corporation will see it as a profit and just replace it with another poor ball python.

A few other breeders around Toronto area to look at are:

-Royal Python Ranch (Barrie)
-Legend Boas (Brampton)
-Urban Python (Markham)
-Canadian Regius (run by Sarin from here)
-Mutation Creation (he delivers within GTA, PM me for an email as his website isnt updated)

I guarantee any of those breeders will have a normal ball python to sell, or a cheap morph. I havent bought any animals from Urban Python, Canadian Regius, or All Reptiles, but Ive heard good things about them, but I have bought from Royal Python Ranch, Legend Boas and Mutation Creation. I also routinely get all my feeders from All Reptiles at the moment as they breed their own, live or f/t.

Port Credit Pet Centre in Mississauga. They have 2011 Normals for $75 or Juvi Normals for $95 . They also deliver to your door from the store on Fridays for $10.

DO NOT buy a reptile from D&D. I hate that place. Smells like dying reptiles :'( Simply Reptiles sells hoppers for 1.67 and they aren't nearly as dirty as when i get them from D&D for even more than that.

I don't want to speak I'll of any of the local reptile shops, I've bought BP's from Allreptiles, and Tails and Scales and I would only recommend buying from Tails and Scales. But only buy from shops if you want to pay full prices if you want to pay top prices. Check out omegapythons.ca. I gaurentee you better prices from him than anyone else. If your interested in anything in particular PM me and I'll text omega pythons and get a price for you. He's located east scarborough on the border of pickering, he will ship if need be.

All reptiles has some of the highest prices in the GTA, and frankly, most of their staff knows next to nothing about the animals.. Karen and chuck are great, but they are not always there.. I don't like talking Ill about other peoples business but I don't recommend going to them for an animal mainly because of prices. I've had bad experiences with some of their staff. But this isn't the place for that..

Where reptile shops are concerned tails and scales are amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable, great staff and willing to cut deals. Ask for Nelson(owner) or Kenneth, tell them Dan and Chris sent you .

Check out Omega and PM with a wish list. I'll bug chris for prices and might even be able to get you a discount. I got another member from here a bumble bee for 250.

I ended up getting a pastel female from Mutation Creation and he was awesome to deal with. It is my first ever snake and she is awesome. I may have a new addiction on my hands though. (It was only supposed to be one but he had a few I really liked) In the next year or two I may talk my wife into a rack.

I was very happy with the price and he even checked out my custom cage when I asked him to so that I knew everything was good. Very helpful even after the purchase.

I have been dealing with Simply Reptiles here in Oshawa and I am really happy with there service and they have a very clean shop. They have good prices and even carry Herpstats and other equipment you don't usually see in pet shops. I am getting my feeders from them and got my Herpstat and temp gun there too.
