black pastel vs cinnamon

Ok how can you tell the difference between a black pastel and a cinnamon.I just got a male cinnamon and want to make sure its a cinnamon and not a black pastel

Black pastels are known to have black squiggles in their alien heads.
Cinnamons don't have these squiggles, but have more blushing
