SPAMTASTICO!
LOL...It's just not workin!
All I know is when I feed my BP's, some of them (I'd say 3 out of 10 each time they feed) will take the rat feet first. They are doing just fine. Also, about regurgitation. I guess that may make sense. But you have to take into consideration that once it is inside the snake, it is decomposing at a super fast rate. By the time the snake MAY need to regurge, the rodent would be in a state of decompostion where it wouldn't matter what end was to come out first; it would all come out decomposed.

I got quite worried when Pretzel first decided she was going to eat a mouse feet first!! Panicked something chronic!! She was totally fine though, she just took a little longer to manoeuvre herself around sticking out limbs! Was quite painful to watch!! Haha

Why is your snake regurgitating? That's not a good sign at all. And snakes need a minimum of 2 weeks before trying to feed again. It's stressful on a snakes body and feeding too soon can do more damage.

Regurgitation is not good! I don't really think this would happen from eating feet first.

I don't think the OP said their snake was regurgitating... but referring to the somewhat common misconception that a snake that eats a rodent feet first cannot regurgitate it later on(because it would hang up and not slide back out).
It doesn't hurt a snake to eat a rodent backwards, and once eaten, IF the snake needed to regurge for some reason, it is already coated liberally with plenty of slime and will slide back out.

I think with animals we really care a lot about we over analyze everything, people freak out if their snake eats a little substrate, or eat a rodent the "wrong way". They are snakes they know what they are doing, all these things happen is the wild and they do just fine.
