Please don't let this keep you from getting another one eventually. My first tarantula died due to a stupid mistake on my part, and I was so devastated. People on here urged me to get another eventually and I'm really glad I did. You learn things as you go along. Take your time and grieve, but I think you'd be an awesome addition to our community.
