    Question about genetics

I have a large WC volta normal bp and I'm going to breed her to a lesser male. Will any of the offsprings get the volta genetics (giant size).

While there is some locale of ball pythons that gets quite large, never herd 8k gram ball python, if I am wrong some post some info. Google only reviled a craigslist post making the claim you are.

"Volta" is the locale of a population of large BP. They are also referred to as Sub-Saharan Giants.

Mike Wilbanks ( Constrictors Unlimited) recently posted on his FB page a 10k female. Just because you can't find it on google does not mean they do not exist!

To the OP because the offspring get genes from both patents I would say yes it may contribute to some large offspring. They could also take more after the sire and be " normal" sized. I hope this helps, Good Luck.

Unless it's some uber double secret probation project, I don't know why we have to scrape the crusty under belly of the internet for a few pictures.

You'd think we would be able to find pictures of these giants on a web fourm dedicated to ball pythons...wonder where I might find a web site like that?
