Good thermostat
I need to get a better thermostat for my flexwatt because I have had trouble keeping my temps up with the rheostat that I bought. Can someone recommend a good, affordable thermostat that has multiple outlets?

1.0 Pastel Poss het Albino (Thor)
0.1 Normal (Chloe)
0.1 Tiger Reticulated Python (Jade)
0.1 Borneo Black Blood Python (Kira)
Coming soon:

Re: Good thermostat
Reptile Basics Vivarium series I prefer the ve300 and you can plug a surge protector into its single outlet for multiple flexwatt runs as long as they are all the same wattage

Depends on your budget. Herpstat is great. Their starter is $99. I'm not familiar with Helix, but they have great ratings as well.
If you can't afford the higher end thermostats for now, then I would go with a Hydrofarm ($30 amazon). Although they do have a larger fluctuation in temperature than the herpstat/helix, which are both proportional. The hydrofarm is an on/off type.
And you don't need multiple outlets.
You can just plug a power strip into the thermostat. Then plug all of your flexwatt connections into that power strip.

If you need multiple outlets the Herpstat 2 - 4, the ecozone, digital aquatics herpkeeper, or the VE 300x2
Personally I would highly recommend the herpstat or the ecozone if you have the cash. The DA looks like it is being pushed out and the VE series some have been reporting problems and the full specs have not been disclosed.
