    Depends on your budget. Herpstat is great. Their starter is $99. I'm not familiar with Helix, but they have great ratings as well.
    If you can't afford the higher end thermostats for now, then I would go with a Hydrofarm ($30 amazon). Although they do have a larger fluctuation in temperature than the herpstat/helix, which are both proportional. The hydrofarm is an on/off type.

    And you don't need multiple outlets.
    You can just plug a power strip into the thermostat. Then plug all of your flexwatt connections into that power strip.
