Naming..

I've come to realize that naming myself is the hardest part of herping. I've come up with a few names over the last few weeks, and I'd like to get some opinions.

Love Me Again Reptiles (LMA Reptiles)
Bad Habit Reptiles
Xotik Exotics

The first one comes from the fact that most of my snakes are rescues, and that as soon as I'm done with my current college degree, I'm going back to school to be a reptile vet, and eventually professionally rescue and rehabilitate all manner of reptiles. I also want to shed a positive light on them, making it more open and friendly.

The second is well, not so open and friendly, but very true. Once you are bitten by the reptile bug, its hard to stop.

And the last is, well my name. I've been using this name for, going on 10 years now, and I'm already pretty well established in it.

Another idea I had was to use both the first and the second. Use the first for any rehabilitated and ready-to-be-rehomed reptiles, and use the second or third for my breeding side. I'm pretty sure this could cause some confusion, but may also be clearer as far as businesses go.
Any input?

Ehh, I hate my real name. I don't even use it in the real world
Everybody calls me Sai or Sairyn. and my last name might change sometime. and I don't want to have to either go under the maiden name I hate so much, or change the name of my business.

Choosing a business name is tough. Either they just dont sound right or their taken. It took me awhile to find a good business name and im saving mine untill the time comes.

The first one is very unique and really shows you are a rescue business, id stick with that. People will try to talk you into stuff like "*** Herps" or "*** Reptiles", these are corny and overrated, get creative. At the last expo i met a corn snake breeder and his business name was Children of the Corn Snake.....now THATS what i call a business name.

While business names are neither here nor there for me, particularly because I've never been drawn into making a purchase by the name of the business, and I tend to remember the names that I've dealt with over their business names. I think you have a pretty neat name you can play around with. Maybe a little play on words like...

While business names are neither here nor there for me, particularly because I've never been drawn into making a purchase by the name of the business, and I tend to remember the names that I've dealt with over their business names. I think you have a pretty neat name you can play around with. Maybe a little play on words like...

I want to stay away from specific species - as I already have a dragon, other types of snakes and actually - mammals too. But I do want it to be reptile specific. I wanted to go the direction that HomeGrownScales did - but we're in the same state (less than 50 miles apart) and I don't want to tread on her toes, ya know?

I do love Love Me Again Reptiles, cause it kinda gives the squishy feeling you get from mammals - but with reptiles. And that doesn't come around too often. I'll probably end up doing something like "Firstname Lastname of LMA Reptiles" on business cards and stuff.

Mine is A&K Reptiles/Exotics...not sure which I prefer yet. the A&K stands for Angela & Kevin, since its a partnership with my gf. Plus if we break up for whatever reason it can just be A&K without clarification needed.

Sairyn isn't my real name.
but Sai is the female spelling of Cy - which is short for what my grandfather calls me - Cyrus.
and Ryn is the nickname of my female bp - Prince Oberyn.

And I refuse to use my last name for anything.

If I did the girlfriend/boyfriend & thing. it would be S&S Reptiles or whatnot. And I'm not a huge fan of symbols.

Serpents would be cool, but I'm trying to keep it broad - seeing as I have a dragon and amphibians too..
